Perfect for both new installations and renovations, this trap simplifies the process by allowing easy connection to a 40mm DWV pipe, offering a one-man installation solution. With an offset inlet and no mid-joint nut, it’s particularly useful in confined spaces like pedestal basins or bidet setups where space is limited.

• Reducer Compatibility: Can be used with standard 100mm x 50mm and 50mm x 40mm reducers, allowing installation under bidets with 100mm diameter pipes, where part of the trap can rest below floor level.

For Basin Installation

• Prepare the Waste Pipe: The waste pipe must be well bevelled using a deburr or round file and then lubricated before fitting the trap.
• Installation Flexibility: The trap can be fitted to the pipe first and then tightened to the basin, or it can be attached to the basin first and then lowered onto the pipe, which is especially helpful for fully enclosed pedestal basins.
• Swivel Nut: The swivel nut only needs to be hand-tightened, and the "O" ring seal requires 15mm of engagement to allow for easy installation and removal.

To Open Trap

• Opening Mechanism: Twist to open the trap using a screwdriver as a lever.

To Reassemble Trap

• Reassemble Instructions: Locate the "O" ring on the inverted inlet tube and lube the outer housing with liquid soap or a similar lubricant. Fit the parts together and twist until the plastic faces meet.

For Bidet Installation

• Set the Drainage: The drainage should be installed with 100mm diameter PVC pipes.
• Reducer Installation: Glue a 100mm x 50mm reducer and a 50mm x 40mm reducer together, ensuring that the eccentrics are opposite to each other.
• Height Calculation: Calculate the height of the reducers and glue them below the floor level inside the 100mm diameter pipe.
• Prepare the 40mm Pipe: Bevel and lubricate the 40mm diameter pipe, then glue it into position below the floor inside the 100mm diameter pipe.
• Fit the Trap: Attach the Lineal Trap to the bidet first and then lower it over the 40mm pipe for final installation.
